modalities i use
This therapeutic approach can be used with children, teenagers and adults.
NeuroAffective Touch® is a therapeutic approach that combines somatic (body-based) touch with talk therapy to help individuals heal from
developmental and relational trauma.
It uses gentle, compassionate, and non-invasive touch to access and process emotional and relational wounds that are often stored in the body and are difficult to address through words alone.
This approach helps to regulate the nervous system and build a more integrated mind-body connection.

Integration of body and mind: It recognizes that trauma is held in the body and uses touch to bridge the gap between the mind's understanding and the body's experience.
Focus on developmental trauma: The method is particularly helpful for individuals who have experienced early attachment wounds, emotional neglect, or other forms of developmental trauma.
Somatic co-regulation: The therapist provides a regulated, compassionate presence to help the client's nervous system feel safe and to regulate itself.
Polyvagal-informed: It is informed by polyvagal theory, which helps to understand the nervous system's responses to trauma and safety.
Supporting emotional integration:
As the body feels safer and more regulated, emotions become easier to sense, name, and stay present with. The work bridges body sensation with emotional meaning, helping clients feel more coherent and whole.
A collaborative, embodied process:
The work is slow, respectful, and paced by the client’s system. Together we track sensations, emotions, and shifts in regulation so your body and mind can integrate new experiences of safety and connection.
Mind–body integration:
NAT treats the body and mind as inseparable. Healing is most powerful when both are involved. Unlike purely somatic touch therapies, NAT brings psychological understanding into the work: affect, developmental needs, attachment patterns, and emotional meaning.
Relational and attachment-focused:
The therapeutic relationship — grounded, attuned, and consistent — is central to the work. Co-regulation is a key part of healing.
Non-pathologizing:
Symptoms are seen as adaptive responses — intelligent attempts to cope — and the focus is on supporting regulation, rather than fixing or labelling.
Trauma-sensitive and embodied:
The work is paced slowly and respectfully. You lead the way. The goal is to help you feel at home in your body and to support your system in moving toward more ease, safety, and connection.
Reach out to enquire about working together. I’ll send you key information about my approach and what to expect so you can get a clear sense of whether this feels like the right support for you.
We’ll have a free 20-minute call to explore your needs and answer any questions. If you’d like to continue, I’ll send you an intake form to complete and return before our first session
In this 90-minute session (€120), we begin by briefly discussing your intake form. From there, we move into a somatic-focused session so you can experience the work directly and begin building a felt sense of safety and connection in the body.
Therapy continues in a block of six sessions (€390), held at the same time and day each week. Ongoing work is recommended to support deeper regulation and embodiment, with breaks between blocks encouraged to allow for rest and integration.
NeuroAffective Touch® sessions are offered in person or online via Zoom. The work is effective with or without physical touch.
Each session begins with a brief verbal check-in to understand how you are feeling and what has come up since your last session. Checking-in and attunement between you and your therapist continues throughout the session. You will always be asked for explicit consent before any work begins.
For in-person sessions, you may lie face-up (fully clothed) on a massage table or remain seated in an armchair if that is more comfortable. For online sessions, you can lie on a bed, couch, or yoga mat at home, with your camera positioned so the therapist can see your head and feet.
NeuroAffective Touch® does not have a fixed protocol. The therapist attunes to what is needed in the moment and may invite you to notice internal sensations or reflect together on your experience.
Touch is passive and stationary—there is no massage or movement. The intention is gentle support & presence. This part of the session lasts 45 minutes.
After the session, there is a short debrief (5-10 mins). The total session time is 60 minutes. Clients are welcome to check in during the week if questions or concerns arise.
I work with adults, teens, and children. Teens typically attend sessions independently.
When working with children, a parent is always present. Depending on the child’s needs, sessions may involve working with the child while a parent observes, or working with the parent and child together in the same session. This will be discussed in advance to determine what is most supportive for your family.
Sessions with younger children integrate play-based activities alongside NeuroAffective Touch® work.
Fees vary depending on the type of support you’re seeking.

If cost is a barrier, please feel free to reach out—together we can explore options that make the work more affordable while still sustainable for both of us. I do offer concession rates and believe that this work should be accessible to all.
Payment is required in advance at the time of booking. Payments can be made by cash, bank transfer, Revolut, or PayPal (details will be provided before your first session).
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will forfeit the session fee, except in the case of illness or emergencies. To maintain consistency in the work, these missed sessions are not rescheduled within the same week; instead, the agreed 6-week block is extended accordingly.
Please ensure any transfer fees are covered so the full session fee is received.
